My charger had to be installed at the back of my garage and since I don't want to back into my very tight garage the EV Hover helps greatly. It took me about 45 seconds to a minute to unplug the car and wrap store the cable before the EV Hover but now it takes less than 10 seconds each time I need to go somewhere. The biggest improvement is since the cable is not sitting on the floor of the garage I don't have to worry about it getting run over when my wive is backing her care out of the garage. I would recommend the EV Hover to anyone that does not have easy access to their charger.

The installation was very simple and I'm really enjoying EV Hover. I like that my cables are off the ground. Recommend to install at a height that puts the arms above the hood of the car. I put my charger between two vehicles and this allows the arm to extend over each one.

A nicely designed product with some thought behind it. The little spirit level is a useful item to help when installing. The instructions could have been a little better but there are plenty of installation videos online (mostly for the older model) and it is fairly intuitive to assemble and mount. It comes in one large piece - the arm assembly and mounting plate - with the charger hanger separate. Note that it is quite heavy and unweildy, so having some help is a bonus. I installed it myself so it can be done on your own. A full set of fasteners for attaching to the wall would have been handy, but I had to supplement with my own. If you have 6 holes (including one for installation setup) then it would be expected to have at least 5 screws and wall plugs. The velcro bands for holding the cables stop the folding arm being completely flush with the wall. Not really a problem. Another nice touch would be to have had a bumper pad for the arm on the wall, to prevent damage to the wall when folding. I will purchase one separately. So far, so good and the device avoids the charger cable trailing on the garage floor when charging either of our cars.
