The store’s guidance on every blanket page is to aim for 10% of your body weight, and it says you can size up or down to preference. Use the store’s size reference images on the product page to compare each blanket against a mattress.
Bamboo or cotton
Sleep Heavy sells its cotton weighted blanket in the same three sizes and weights, so the choice comes down to the fabric. The store’s FAQ says its blankets are designed to be breathable, “especially our bamboo and cotton blankets”, and says cotton and bamboo both help regulate body temperature. That is the brand’s statement, and the page does not say how the two compare with each other.
What the pages do show is the build. The cotton blanket and the bamboo blanket both use a removable cover over a weighted insert, so both are set up for washing the cover on its own. If you want a cover change without buying a whole new blanket, Sleep Heavy also sells spare covers.
Spare covers and bed fit
Sleep Heavy sells spare covers so you can swap a cover while the other is washed. The spare covers page lists grey cotton and mink covers in Single, Double and King/Queen. It does not list a bamboo cover, so if you want a second bamboo cover, ask the store before you plan around one.
For bed fit, compare the three listed dimensions with your own mattress. The store shows size reference images on the product page and says its blankets are shown on standard mattresses. Measure your mattress in centimeters and use that, not a bed size name, because a name such as double can mean different things in different countries.
The bamboo blanket page shows a rating of 4.7 from 22 reviews. Those are the store’s own review figures from its own page.
Two checks before you order: confirm the weight you want is offered in your size, because King/Queen lists only 9 kg, and confirm how many days you have to decide. The store gives you 30 days from delivery to return a blanket under its refund policy, so decide on the weight soon after it arrives.
Care, delivery and returns
The bamboo page says the covers are removable and machine washable, with a gentle cycle and air drying recommended. For the weighted insert it says to hand wash in cold water and air dry.
